Retaliation brings the cheese
By Scott Mendelson HollywoodNews.com: I liked GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra more than most people did, so it heartens me to say that this short 30 second spot feels more larger-than-life than the first full trailer. Point being, I don't want a GI Joe movie ...

Hunger Games, Lockout and G.I. Joe
This is the first of two Super Bowl movie trailers (along with an Avengers trailers that shows us carnage and the faces of all of the protagonists) that came out this week. This trailer amplifies the emotion of the first theatrical trailer. Instead of showing us Effie’s (Elizabeth Banks) bubbly personality, we see her and President Snow (Donald Sutherland) expressing excitement and glee about the approach of the Games. Instead of showing Gale (Liam Hemsworth) carrying Prim (Willow Shields) away, we see her face as she screams. Instead of a brief shot of training, we see just how intensely Cato (Alexander Ludwig) maims a dummy. Instead of seeing Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) fears about he...

G.I. Joe Super Bowl Spot Reveals Cobra Commander

I still have a hard time understanding how Stephen Sommers managed to screw up Cobra Commander so badly in the first G.I. Joe movie. Why they would do this when the original design looks so damn cool (just a simple flat, silver mask) is truly beyond me. Fortunately it's a problem that Jon Chu has fixed in the sequel, G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Want to get a sneak peek at what that will look like? Check out the brand new Super Bowl s...

‘G.I. Joe- Sequel Is ‘Better Than The First,- Says Channing Tatum

Whether you loved or hated "GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra," it's fair to say that there were a few things that could be improved upon in a sequel (except Joseph Gordon-Levitt's performance as "The Doctor"/Rex though. He was awesome).

“GI Joe: Rise of Cobra” is what happens, and it is by all accounts a very bad film indeed. After following a morbid curiosity at the insistence of a friend that swore this was a true masterpiece of miserable and bloated studio filmmaking, ...
