Use beat detection to align your video clips with soundtrack

from the official website.

Beat detection, also known as syncing audio to video, is a valuable feature that allows you to automatically align the beats of an audio track with the visuals in your video. This process can save time and ensure your video clips move in harmony with the rhythm of your music. Beat detection makes the process of syncing audio and video much more efficient by automating most of the work for you. By aligning your video clips with the beats, you can create a professional-looking video.

First, select the track in the timeline that you wish to analyze for beats.
Navigate to the left sidebar and click More Tools. Select the Audio tab, choose the Beat Detection tool.

Click the Detect Audio Beats button, allowing the software to analyze the selected music file and position beat markers along the Timeline.

You can modify the tempo using the slider. By sliding this control left, you can make the beats slower; conversely, a rightward slide increases the tempo.

Align your video clips to the beat: When editing clips (trimming or moving them), they will now adhere closely to the beat markers.

To remove beat markers for a specific audio clip, right-click on the clip within the Timeline and choose Remove Beats.
To erase all beat markers across your project, right-click anywhere along the Timeline ruler and select Remove All Beats.

How to synchronize audio in two clips automatically

Navigate to the left sidebar and click on More tools. Within the Audio section, select the Synchronization tool.

Next, choose two separate audio clips situated on distinct tracks within your project timeline. Finally, initiate the synchronization process by clicking Synchronize.

The position of both clips shifts accordingly as they are synchronized.
