Begin by clicking the Titles icon on the left sidebar and exploring the array of text styles. Choose the Timer title style. Make use of the search bar or navigate to the Basic tab. Position the timer title in your project: drag and drop it onto the title track within the Timeline for insertion. To modify the length of the timer, drag the clip's edges and move them within the Timeline to adjust its duration accordingly.

Edit the timer design: double-clicking on the timer clip in the Timeline will open the Clip Editing panel -- here you can select a preferred style for your timer, include an outline, modify the background color, choose the desired timer format, or use a countdown. You can develop a unique preset for your timer settings by saving them for future use within the My titles collection.
