Add logo to your videos, create picture-in-picture effect

from the official website.

To create a split-screen or picture-in-picture effect without cutting the main video in Movavi Video Editor, you can utilize the extra track provided by this software. This allows for the addition of various visual elements such as logos, watermarks, chroma key effects, and short clips on top of the primary footage.

Add a background video or foreground video/photo to the project timeline.

Then, select a clip intended for overlay placement and drag it onto the primary video track.

The selected clip will become connected to the main video, allowing for seamless synchronization between the two tracks when editing. When manipulating content on the main video track, any changes will also affect the overlay clip in real-time.

As you move the clip on the overlay track, the Position panel will be triggered, providing access to a range of positioning options (this panel can also be opened by clicking More tools, and choosing Position under Video).

From here, select one of the available positions: Logo, Picture in picture, Side by side, Overlap, or Trio.

To enable Picture-in-picture mode, click on that option. Next, use the player controls to position the overlay video over any part of the screen where you want it to appear. To resize the overlay, click on one of its corners and drag it while holding down the mouse button. Lastly, click and drag inside the frame to move it around as desired.

Activate Logo overlay position by clicking on it, then move the overlay clip to any area within the frame. Logo resizing and repositioning are easily accomplished through simple dragging actions.

Split the frame into two halves with the Side-by-side overlay position. Select a clip on the overlay track and choose Side-by-side, hover your cursor over the clip in the player to adjust placement of the image, or zoom-in/out using scroll wheel (on the mouse).

To achieve a multi-video effect with the Trio Overlay position, you can combine up to three videos in a single frame. Here's how:
Step 1. Choose your first video on the additional track and select the Trio Overlay position.
Step 2. While hovering over the chosen clip in the player, use your mouse's scroll wheel to zoom in or out on the image inside the frame as needed. This action will allow you to precisely align the video with other media elements within the frame.
Step 3. To add an additional video and combine it with the first one, simply repeat steps 1 and 2 for each subsequent clip on the extra track.
As you work through this process, you can experiment with different placements, zooms, and panning effects to create a unique and engaging composition that showcases your creativity.

When in Overlap mode, the supplementary video will entirely cover the primary video, creating a flawless blend of both sources. This feature allows to seamlessly integrate additional content without interrupting the main video flow.
