American Idol Season 9 Last night, the ninth season of American Idol premiered on Fox, and we had our first auditions in Boston. Tonight, Idol hits another city of hopefuls. For ninety minutes, we are taken into Atlanta to see who stands out. As always we have our good and our bad. Some received that golden ticket to Hollywood. One of the standout auditions of the night was by Jermaine Sellers. He performed What If God Was One Of Us by Joan Osborne, and he was amazing.He is a 26 year old church singer from Illinois, and he has spent his adult life taking care of his mother.
