The happiest state of all
People who live in the sunny states of Louisiana, Hawaii and Florida are happiest, in that ranking order, according to a new study from researchers at Britain's University of Warwick and Hamilton College of New York. The conclusion came based on nationwide data from 1.3 million U.S. citizens surveyed randomly about their satisfaction with life. But can any survey really define something as subjective as which state has the happiest people? So many factors come into play: health, wealth, poverty, age, job status, faith, friends, family, retirement status, amenities, geography, and that's just for starters.
