Winter Antiques Show at the Park Avenue Armory
If the maverick ceramicist George Ohr had been a glassmaker, he might have produced something like this. Among the best of high-end antiques extravaganzas, the Winter Antiques Show, which begins on Friday and runs through Jan. 31, presents a practically encyclopedic range of art, decorative objects, furniture, tribal arts and crafts, and much more. There are dealers in ancient art, medieval suits of armor, Art Nouveau, American folk art and Modernist design. The cutoff for the newest material is 1969.
